the winter rushI've never been good with change; changes in friendships, changes in nature, changes in everyday life. It's all the things that I take for granted that seem to hurt the most when they all of a sudden up and change.

Change of location. Change of residency.
It's the simple things we do for the people we love that we resent being asked to do. The simple things we do without paying attention because we are in a rush and just want to get it done. These are the things we miss the most when we no longer have the chance to do them.

I love you...too.My father cries about things that cannot be changed. Things like loneliness and a broken heart. He keeps the things he cannot change tucked neatly in a draw beside his bed and sometimes when he is alone at night he lets them out and cries because if he doesn’t cry over them, who will? If he doesn’t cry, who will?
My father thinks my mother isn’t the horrible person everyone makes her out to be. But my father thinks he knows a lot of things that he doesn’t. He thought my mother loved him. He thought we would all live in a nice house on the beach. We would love and care for each other. My father thinks a lot of I love you...too.

Listening to: always rushing by

frankie has his fingers, little girl has her big spoon. i have something to say but no audience and no way of even putting coherent thoughts together. i've been trying for over a month to write something that is at least half way decent and that makes some sort of sense but all that's come of it is this journal entry. i feel lame... mostly because no one will read this but partly because i know that if someone does happen to read it no one will offer me any kind of suggestions and even worse, if they do i probably won't even take their advice.

i guess it will all work itself out sooner or later?
